Hello Panther Families!

Wow! It is hard to believe that it's nearly the end of the 3rd quarter of school. It has been an eventful year full of both challenges and successes. We remain steadfast in our commitment to provide a top tier education for all students. Our families are integral to support student success, model engagement, and communicate in an ever evolving global climate. Every day provides us with new opportunities to be proud of the young people that our students are becoming.Â
To that end, we recently hosted an assembly for all students in which garrison leadership, garrison support staff, SHS administration, and SHS support staff were able to reiterate behavioral, academic, and citizenship expectations in school, on post, and in our communities. Â Please use this opportunity to discuss these guidelines and reiterate the importance of these shared community values.Â
At Stuttgart High School, we want to continue to highlight the good work of our classrooms, activities, students, and faculty. We see greatness here every single day.Â
As we close out Q3, we also want to wish Ms. Mills all the best at her new post as the Lead Administrator of Garmisch Elementary/Middle School. Her presence will be dearly missed at SHS and we want to assure you that our Panthers are in great hands with the professionals we have at SHS.Â
Please see the school newsletter for information that you may need to stay informed, get involved, and be integral to our panther community.

It's time for School Year 2025-2026 Spring Re-registration (eligibility)! This is a required process for every student. Parents must submit a re-registration to indicate whether their student is staying in DoDEA or leaving their current location. Please complete by 28 March 2025. Process to re-register your student(s) for SY25-26: Parents must re-register each student individually by logging into the DoDEA Student Information System (DSIS) Family Portal at https://dodeasis.myfollett.com/aspen/logon.do submitting a student re-registration request for each of their student(s).Â
The re-registration process provides a quick and easy way for families to update information (contacts, Sponsor's employment status, student health) and indicate whether their student will be returning or withdrawing next school year. Expired DEROS or change in employment, please upload appropriate documents, and contact Ms. Matzke. Please also ensure to update ANY outdated contact information! Note: It is recommended to use a laptop or computer when using Aspen to re-register to ensure that the registration process goes smoothly.Â
Please complete the re-registration process by 28 March 2025. If you are not certain that your student (s) will attend SHS next school year at this time, please pre-register anyway. We can always withdraw your student(s) later). The information collected during re- registration will be used to determine each student's continued eligibility, as well as plan staffing, and resource needs for the coming school year. After your re-registration submission has been reviewed, the School Registrar will contact you if additional information is required. Withdrawing: If your student(s) will not return next school year, or you are having trouble accessing ASPEN, please contact the registrar, Ms. Ilka Matzke (ilka.matzke@dodea.edu).

Updates from Dr. Payne (stephanie.payne@dodea.edu) :
- The April 23rd meeting in the auditorium has been changed to April 22nd, from 8:00-11:00 this will include meeting with your counselor on School Links and with Ms. Burkman on Places you will go and a short line up for graduation.
- The June 3rd graduation rehearsal (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM) is only for students and adults who are speaking, singing, posting colors, etc. It is not for the Class of 2025 students who are only walking. Seniors will have their full rehearsal on the last day of school March 28th , from 8:00 – 11:00 AM in the auditorium, with breakfast and snacks provided.
- On graduation day, June 3rd, seniors must report to the venue by 4:00 PM (no later) in their cap and gown for a final walk-through and a group photo. Parents are welcome to accompany their student to make parking easy; however, doors for the stadium hall where graduation will take place will not open for seating until 5:00 pm. You will be able to go into the stadium outside where there are bathrooms and seating areas to hang out. 😊
